Financial Literacy and Cyber Hygiene Workshop
ACIOE Associates, alongside Moniepoint and Tech4Dev, organised a two-day workshop in Abuja to empower women and People Living with Disabilities (PLWDs) with financial literacy and cyber hygiene skills. The two-day event aimed to enhance economic stability, safeguard businesses online, and leverage technology for growth. Over 100 participants, including small and micro-enterprise owners, learned about financial planning, budgeting, cybersecurity, and online payment safety. Practical sessions and interactive activities covered financial management, secure business practices, and digital tools for cyber protection. The program sought to enhance financial literacy, promote business growth, strengthen cybersecurity practices, empower participants with technology, and promote cyber hygiene to prevent financial fraud and cybercrime. The workshop aimed to support vulnerable populations in achieving economic empowerment and online safety by providing essential knowledge and skills.
The Financial Literacy and Cyber Hygiene Workshop successfully bridged the gap between financial literacy and online safety for women and PLWDs in Abuja. Participants left empowered with the skills to manage their finances better and protect their digital assets, contributing to broader economic and social inclusion. This event aligns with ACIOE Associates’ mission to foster financial independence and cybersecurity awareness, particularly for vulnerable populations.
