Olukunle Daramola

Olukunle Daramola is a public health expert and a seasoned program management specialist with over 18 years’ robust experience in Family Planning/Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH), Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (MNCH), Humanitarian Response, Malaria, HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, Gender, OVC and Women’s Empowerment, Programs Management and Monitoring and Evaluation in Nigeria. He has demonstrable expertise in strategic planning, program design, implementation and monitoring and evaluation including data collection and reporting through national data management platforms.

Olukunle has a cordial working relationship with both public and private organizations in health sector including Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) at both national and subnational levels. He also has wealth of experience working with both local and INGOs across 36+1 states in Nigeria. In the recent past, he facilitated Local and State Economic Empowerment Development Strategy (LEEDS and SEEDS), a blue-print document that brings attention of relevant donors to support various sectors including health at both state and local government levels in Nigeria.

He has supported the development of work plans across a diverse portfolio of healthcare systems including activity costing, and M&E activities. As the Senior Portfolio Manager/ Team Lead for Program Management Unit under the Global Fund (GF) Impact HIV Grant for FHI 360 as Principal Recipient in Nigeria, Olukunle established and maintained good working relationships with Sub Recipients (SRs) and relevant government institutions across 35+1 states in Nigeria. Olukunle worked also with Achieving Health Nigeria Initiative (AHNi) as the Project Director for GF Malaria New Funding Model Grant; and the Regional Manager for GF HIV Investments for Impact Grant across the 6+1 states in the North Central geopolitical zone of Nigeria.
