Emmanuel Effiong

Emmanuel Effiong is experienced in public policy analysis with an area of specialization in the nexus between government policy formulation and implementation strategies and the effects these have on the private sector and society at large. His niche is in merging quantitative and qualitative analysis of public policy development and implementation processes to establish a holistic understanding of the impact on emerging and frontier economies’ micro and macroeconomic cum political outlook. This expertise served him as a trade manager and international advisor to leading technology firms in Asia on entry strategy into the sub-Saharan African market.

Emmanuel is an alumnus of the Young Africa Leadership Initiative (YALI) Emerging Leaders Program, where he specialized in Public Policy Management. He is a Fellow of the Africa Policy Conversations Think Tank. He volunteers with several public policy advocacy platforms, such as ConstitutionLab, where he serves as the Communications Lead and sits on the Board of Trustees of The Re-Awakening Nigeria.

Emmanuel Effiong holds a master’s degree from Southwest Jiaotong University, China, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Madonna University, Nigeria.
