Dr Rayyan Garba

Dr Rayyan Garba is a Consultant Public Health Physician and Professor of Public Health with vast experience in practicing and teaching public nationally and internationally. His work and research interests centered around health systems strengthening; reproductive, maternal and child health – with emphasis on family planning; immunization programming; and healthcare financing. He has a PhD in public health from the Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria & Niger. He holds a Fellowship of the West African College of Physicians in Community Health. He won the British Commonwealth Scholarship to study Master of Science (MSc) degree in Public Health at the University of London/London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He also holds a medical degree (MBBS) from Bayero University Kano, and has completed several specialized courses/trainings in his areas of work and research interest
