This year, He helped organize the private meeting and dinner for President Muhammadu Buhari with the US business community (Corporate Council on Africa and the US chamber of Commerce). He also functions as a Government Relations consultant with the objective of facilitating and conducting business effectively with the Nigerian government. When he is not working, he volunteers his time with the Lux Terra Leadership Foundation and the Redeemed Church of God to help build the youths in Nigeria by teaching and mentoring young secondary school students on leadership, good conduct and being exceptional. Ebere Nwankpa is a Government Relations expert who is a passionate advocate for adding value to the public policy space. As a former, Special Assistant to the President on Legal and Council Matters in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Nwankpa brings with him a deep knowledge of the contemporary government relations terrain in Nigeria and a wide network of contacts.
Mr. Nwankpa is a seasoned administrator, manager and planner with a decade and half of wide ranging experience on two continents – North America and Africa. Prior to returning to Abuja in 2011, Mr. Nwankpa worked at the Fairfax County Health Department, American Diabetes Association and the National Association for Home Builders in the Washington DC area.
He is currently a Consultant at Sterling Partnership and an Associate Partner at MN Capital Africa Advisors. Mr. Nwankpa was educated at University of Ghana, Legon, and holds an advanced degree in Public Administration from Regent University, Virginia.
Martin Attafynn is the lead and advisor of ACIOE in Ghana. He leads ACIOE engagement with NNPC. He has over twenty years of experience working with various consulting firms. He worked with Deloitte across East Africa and West Africa for over 15 years. He was the head of consulting for the Deloitte Uganda Office and was charged with the responsibility of providing direction for Information and Communications Technology in the East African Region. His key strengths include Strategic Planning, Project Management, Implementation of Enterprise Applications, Advisory and Facilitation.
He has a proven track record of delivering outstanding results in areas such as the ERP software implementations for JD Edwards at Mechanical Lloyd in Ghana, Lawson at Securities and Exchange Commission in Nigeria, SAP in Benin State Government in Nigeria and SAP in Africa Union Commission – Ethiopia. He led ICT strategy and ICT policy development and ICT systems selection at clients at TANESCO in Tanzania, SEC in Nigeria, NSSA and ASTRA group Zimbabwe. He is involved in ICT policy development for Government of Ghana and Government of Kenya. Whilst with Deloitte & Touché, Martin was also responsible for training and the development and running of consulting training in the Africa Region.
He is an accredited Deloitte Facilitator, and delivered training from consultant – emersion level up to Partner level. Martin also led the Deloitte train the trainer sessions dubbed Facilitating for DTT, for the Deloitte Africa Facilitators. He initiated the Professional Education Program (PEP) which was setup to train clients in essential professional and technical competencies. Madu, Romanus Mgbechibelije is a well-rounded Technical/Engineering professional, with very high integrity. He is the ACIOE Lead on Engineering/Technology. He possess a deep understanding of Project and Engineering development. He has over 15 years of experience in Project Management, Engineering, Power and Oil and Gas. He was a Technical Adviser to the Presidential Task Force on Power (Secondment) where he contributed to the Nigerian Power Road Map aimed at privatizing the Nigerian Power Sector and attracting private sector investment in the Generation and Distribution sectors. He also developed the National framework for remote and off-grid power projects.
As a general manager in Century Power Generation Limited, Belije developed the Brownfield power acquisition and expansion opportunities which included the 187MW Ibom Power Plant and the 1020MW FGN Sapele Power Plant. He supervised the development of the conceptual engineering report of the Okija Integrated Power Project and site layout for the 1500MW CCPP and also developed the Implementation for the project-500MW OCPP phase-1, 750MW CCPP phase-2 and 1,500MW CCPP phase-3.
As an engineer in Shell Petroleum Development Company, Belije led the initiation, feasibility and concept engineering definition phases for Afam F5 gas development (90MMscfpd) and Alakiri Gas project (50MMscfpd). He has developed and managed portfolios of key business and technical activities. He has attended several Facilities Engineering, Economics, Energy/Power Development and Contracting, Project Management and Middle Management Courses. He has extensive competence in Oil, Gas and Power Project Development, Project Planning and Business Planning tools. Also a certified SAP – Project Systems consultant.
He has a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and a Masters in Engineering Management from the University of Benin, Nigeria.
Otuya Okecha is IT Advisor to ACIOE Associates. He is the founder and Managing Director of Fibresol Nigeria Ltd, a growing ICT infrastructure and solutions firm founded to help bridge the infrastructure and solutions service gaps in Sub Saharan Africa. He also serves as Strategy Consultant to Backbone Connectivity Networks, Nigeria’s leading fibre metropolitan network service provider-company. He is a Business Development Management professional and a Telecom Fibre Transmission Sales Lead Strategist whose career spans the Telecommunication/ICT, Oil Downstream, Healthcare, Publishing and Financial service sectors with 16 years vast combined local and international work experience.
Prior to activating Fibresol, he functioned as Head of Sales and oversaw the general management of Internet Solutions’ (Division of Dimension Data MEA) Abuja and northern area regional office. He also oversaw the Business Development and Revenue Generating unit at Phase3 Telecom, one of West Africa’s leading fibre optic backbone companies as Head Business Solutions & Sales. Prior to this, he founded Dove Publications Inc. in Jackson, Tennessee and served as its Editorial Director after working under Marketing & Business Development and serving as Debt Recovery Manager for a top West Tennessee health care provider, First Care Medical Centre, Brownsville & Jackson. He also functioned on secondment by the Emree Group to establish a Marketing presence for the Arlington Medical Clinic in Arlington, Tennessee.
Before his stint in the U.S.A, Otuya had functioned as Supply Executive/Depot Rep (West-Ilorin) & Industrial Sales Executive-(Apapa Installation covering Lagos & Ogun States) respectively for Conoil Plc, a leading oil downstream company in Nigeria. Prior to joining Conoil, he had gained trainee work experiences in the Computer and Advances & Loans department of Union Bank of Nigeria and Summa Guaranty & Trust Company Plc, a stock broking firm in Lagos. He majored in Industrial Mathematics and has a certified IT background in RDBMS, Java Programming & ISAS. He also has certifications from the Institute of International Trading Mastery, North Carolina, the Magazine Training Institute organised at the University of South California, Los Angeles, the Etisalat Academy, Dubai, the Telecom Academy, London and the University of Stellenbosch Business School. He attended the Air Force Military School, Jos, where he served as the Green Squadron provost from the 88 set. He was an active member of the Young African Professionals Association in Washington D.C, a member of the International Association of Mathematical Geology, Canada, and an active and electorate member of the Society for Industrial & Applied Mathematicians, Philadelphia. He has authored and co-authored several fiction and nonfiction books; one of which got him a high commendation from the then President of Nigeria.
Ridwan Sorunke is the Public Affairs Consultant of ACIOE Associates, a firm of management, energy, power, government relations and finance consultants which is committed to providing solutions to complex societal challenges and promoting trade and investment between Nigeria and other parts of the world. His position covers Government Relations and Public Relations for the firm. He has worked with different local and multinational organizations including the Procter & Gamble Company and Seven-Up Bottling Company. He is experienced in government relations, public relations, crisis and issues management, quality control, and business development.

Onanefe Orife is the Auditor and Engineer with extensive experience within the Oil and Gas industry. He is the Energy lead for ACIOE and Director, Coral Bleu Limited Possesses a strong technical background with extensive practical and management experience, with the ability to lead and implement processes and procedures effectively. He has considerable experience with delivering projects in accordance with industry standards, on time and within budget.
He has served in different capacities with the Nigeria LNG Ltd, Lafarge Cement Division, North America and Africa, NipeX and he is currently a director with Coral Bleu Limited. He has managed and delivered hundreds of audits in the Nigeria Oil and Gas sector.
Nefe has a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Benin and a Master of Science in Advanced Processing Engineering from the Imperial College, London.
Assadigi Assadugu is a Business Development Analyst with over 5years experience in IT framework, database development, design interface and graphic designs. He is also business module developer and brand marketing strategist. Assadigi is currently the IT and business analyst for ACIOE Associates, with a track record of delivering outstanding results and improvements in the areas of Government Relations, SME developments, Trade and investments, Business Performance improvements, Business Process reengineering, Turnaround management, Gap assessments, Risk management, and Project management.
He has provided advisory services to clients Procter & Gamble Nigeria. He was a key player in the facilitation of business discussions between ACIOE, top private organizations, like IBM, and top officials, including Honorable Ministers, in the Nigeria Investment Sector. He is a visiting IT Consultant at the Sickle Cell Aid Foundation (SCAF), a non-governmental organization with an objective of eradicating sickle cell disorder in Nigeria. He is an award-winning IT consultant.
Adaure Ibe is a Business Development Analyst for AICOE Associates. She specializes in Statistical Analysis and Data management. She has worked with the department of research, planning and statistics of the Federal Ministry of Health where she conducted surveys, analysis of private companies’ healthcare investments in Nigeria, and tracking of healthcare budget. She was part of the World Bank Partnership with the Ministry of Health on the tracking of the Public HealthCare Expenditure of the country.
She has a Bachelor Degree in Economics from McMaster University and two diplomas in Non-Profit Management and Business Studies from Mohawk College, Hamilton, Canada.
Akuada Okpala is an accounting professional with over 8 years of experience in Financial Accounting and Auditing. Akuada worked as an accountant for Sysco Foods in Chicago, before transferring to their corporate headquarters Audit department as a Senior Auditor. In this role, Akuada performed financial and operational audits in the U.S, Canada and Europe. Prior to this, she also spent some time in the public accounting/audit sector.
Akuada joins ACIOE as one of its Business Development Lead. She assists in consulting for organizations like Corporate Council on Africa, Procter & Gamble, Albright Stonebridge and the Nigerian Government.
She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Accounting from Michigan State University and Wayne State University respectively and is currently working on obtaining the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) certification.
Hauwa Keri is a Fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, She serves on the Advisory Council to ACIOE ASSOCIATES. She has been a pharmacist since 1978 when she first began her career as an intern at ABU hospital, Kaduna then later with Bauchi State Health Management Board; University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital and Falacol Pharmaceutical Industries, Kano.
She moved to work at NAFDAC in 1996 as Head of Drug Control laboratory Lagos, where she pioneered the Pharmacognosy lab and e-lab that is currently in use. She notably transformed the laboratory by improving efficiency by the introduction of IT systems. The lab was consequently recognised by the WHO as one of the best labs in West Africa at time.
She has also been Director of five departments including Registration and Regulatory Affairs, Narcotics and Chemical Control, Establishment Inspection and later Drug Evaluation & Research directorates. She brought her diligent work ethics to each of these units as well as her transformative brand of leadership. She retired from NAFDAC and started an NGO, Wulfu Foundation, which creates awareness on the dangers of substance abuse among youths in Nigeria.
